The heuristics theory of emotions and moderate rationalism

This paper argues that emotions can play an epistemic role as justifiers of evaluative beliefs. It also presents the heuristics theory emotion empirically informed explanation how such a and why they in practice usefully complement non-affective judgments. As such, represents form moderate rationalism: it acknowledges be epistemically valuable, even privileged some sense, but denies would uniquely privileged.
